I have been dying to do a branch arrangement in my living room-- thank you for the inspiration! Quince may be just the ticket. Do you know how long the branches will last?
Also recently saw a fabulous cotton "branch" arrangement at Freeman's in NYC-- the shot of texture was fabulous!
(Also, thank you so much for listing Wonderlust under your blog favorites!! So flattered. As soon as I get a page up listing my fave reads I'll be listing NVR!)
Eliza — The Finderskeepers Market branches lasted about a month before the petals started to fall. I left them displayed longer as I liked the puddle of petals surrounding the vase. Funny you mentioned the cotton branches — I am using bundles of cotton branches in a display at the new Finderskeepers Market location in Lexington, Kentucky opening early March. I LOVE Freeman's by the way.
Tuesday - Saturday, 11 - 5 (call if you'd like for us to stay later)
Closed Sunday and Monday
"James Snowden is an interior decorator, shopkeeper and, as he styles himself, 'blog curator’ based in Kentucky... He’s a blogger of few words but many beautiful pictures of things that have caught his eye - furniture and curios that are gently distressed, and interiors of an almost ethereal stillness. It is all seductively soulful and makes you want to hop on a plane to visit his shop with a fistful of dollars." -- Gareth Wyn Davies, The Telegraph
